Jelly-Licious: An Introduction to Jelly Masks and Why You Should Love Them

You've seen them all over social media, but you have no clue what they are or what they do. Jelly masks! Those goopy, opaque swathes of gel coating the entire face (eyeballs and mouth included) are interesting to look at, and incredible for skin. They're designed to help cool the skin, which reduces inflammation (pinkness, swelling) and enhance ingredient absorption. Majority are formulated with seaweed as the base, which is nourishing, hydrating, and cooling for the skin. Different masks are formulated with different ingredients to help various skin conditions, such as rose to help soothe inflamed skin, or charcoal to help draw out impurities.
