When you receive a treatment, are you someone who likes to talk through the whole treatment, or someone who likes to zone out? No matter which you prefer, it's important to let your service provider know, so you receive your ideal treatment. We're listing 5 tips to help you communicate exactly what you need!
If you prefer talking, simply keep the conversation going! Ask your service provider what step they're at in their service, what other services do they do, how they got into the industry...
If you prefer silence, it never hurts to let your technician know, with a gentle "I've had an exhausting day. I'm looking forward to getting some zen." Your technician will understand that this means quiet time, and you will be able to have some peace.
If you're someone who likes to start the treatment chatting but then relax as it progresses, talk as much as you'd like until you're done! Simply let your technician know "Okay! I'm going to take a nap now." Whenever you're ready to melt into your treatment.
If you're a talker but have a quiet service provider, asking a few questions never hurts to help them open up. Ask them what products they like the best or what is their favorite service to perform, and why. You can ask them questions you've long wondered but never gotten the chance to ask a professional ("So what IS an AHA?").
If you prefer quiet but your technician is a non stop chatter, start by lessening your chatter back. Not asking questions or giving shorter answers will signal that you're ready for a lull in conversation. If your technician isn't getting it, a light "I think I'm getting tired! I might take a nap now." Is the perfect solution to achieve a blissful silence.
